Penmaenmawr and District u3a

Welcome

Penmaenmawr u3a is a collection of many groups, all following their specific interests. Each group has a Group Leader, but this is not a traditional teacher and class arrangement: all members learn from each other.  This allows maximum engagement and a friendly environment.  There is a social element to all classes, and many members become firm friends. 

It doesn’t matter where you live!  You will be made very welcome.

  • Cancellation of Spring Lunch

    As you may be aware Dave Faulkner died last week. He was an active member of the u3a committee and Drama Group and will be missed by many of us. Although we do not yet have all the details, his family have let us know that his funeral will be on Thursday April 16th. This is the date we planned to hold our Spring Lunch.  Many will want to attend the service; the committee feel it is disrespectful to Dave's memory to go ahead with the lunch so regrettably we have cancelled it for this year.
