Penmaenmawr and District u3a

Welcome

Penmaenmawr u3a is a collection of many groups, all following their specific interests. Each group has a Group Leader, but this is not a traditional teacher and class arrangement: all members learn from each other.  This allows maximum engagement and a friendly environment.  There is a social element to all classes, and many members become firm friends. 

It doesn’t matter where you live!  You will be made very welcome.

  • Brambell Natural History Museum Open Day/Diwrnod Agored Amgueddfa Hanes Natur Brambell

    14.02.2026The Museum will be open on Saturday 14 February, offering free events suitable for families.   This will be an opportunity to visit the University's Natural History Museum , which is not normally open to the public, in order to learn more about the specimens on display.   Visitors will be able to ask questions

  • Spring Lunch

    This year's u3a Spring Lunch will be held at Noddfa Retreat Centre Penmaenmawr. Buffet, entertainment, and a chance to catch up with friends. The cost this year is £15. Tickets available at the next Social Meeting or from Liz McGill /Janet Dibble.
