Summer Ffair Hâf Thursday 17th July 2025 at Split Willow Llanfairfechan
Please come along to make this an enjoyable and successful event. If you have not already got a ticket these can be obtained from committee members, groups or you can pay on the day. Tickets include strawberries and cream with shortbread and a cup of tea or coffee.
There is still time to help in the following ways:
Donate Shortbread Biscuits.
Donate a Bottle for the Bottle Stall.
Donate an item as a raffle prize.
Donate Walking/Outdoor clothing or equipment (contact Janet Dibble).
Donate plants for the Plant Stall.

A Walking holiday is being organised from Sunday 5th October for four nights at the Min y Mor Hotel in Barmouth. For D B & B the charge is £345.00 sharing (there is a waiting list for singles). Its own transport and there will be two levels of walking 4/5 miles and 7/8 miles or thereabouts. Everyone welcome, including non-walkers, as this is a wonderful area with plenty of attractions within a reasonable distance. Croquet is in full swing again it is a great game most people can play. We are a jolly group who play a bit of croquet and have coffee, biscuits, and chat.
We play between 10am and 12noon on Tuesday mornings. Beginners are welcome. The cost is £6.00 per session green fee.

If car sharing, meet at the Flyover, Llandudno Junction at 9.15 a.m. then drive to Menai Bridge & either park opposite The Four Crosses Pub just off the roundabout (Sat Nav: LL59 5RP) or in the Pub's car park. We will walk down to the Straits for a pleasant walk with magnificent views of mountains & the Straits. A circular walk of approx. 4.5 miles. We will need a £10 deposit from everyone a week before, together with their choice of menu (when available).

Catch 9.25am No 5 bus to Bangor at Llandudno Junction flyover then 10.30am T2 to Porthmadog. 4 mile walk via Borth y Gest to open sea at the Powder House and return. Picnic lunch. Homeward journey by train from Blaenau arriving Llandudno Junction at 6.36pm. Leader: Maria Duda Tel: 01492 879074.

Wednesday July 16th
This month we have a guest walk leader, Sean Gavin has offered to lead a walk, we will start at the carpark up at Llyn Crafnant where there are toilets and free parking.
The route involves a circuit of Llyn Crafnant and Llyn Gerionydd approximately 5 miles and 900 feet of ascent. If time allows, we can also visit the abandoned Klondike mill for a bit of local history. The route is scenic with views into the surrounding hills. Please bring suitable footwear, drinks and snacks and a picnic lunch.
